Well Hi, and welcome on my blog.
My first post is about my design team entries for dusty attic chipboard. So fingers crossed........But abaout my entries.....
Life is better at the beach, round reversed canvas with the seaegras and lighthouse chipboard from dusty attic.

I started this canvas with adhering wrinkled tissuepaper on the inside for my watereffect. After that was done I put on a txturepaste on the edge of it and on the inside of the frame a thick rope. Do not telle my man I stole that out of his garage.
Now it was time for my first coat of black gesso and while I was at it I gave my chipboard a coat to.

While my black was drying I made some shells. coral and seahorses wiht moulds and airdryclay and let them dry overnight.

Next morning all my stuff was dry enough to adhere to the canvas, started with the shells. on the bottem I adhered some bigger real shells filled with clay ( for easy adhering) because otherwise I had toe glue down a lot of little ones to fill the space, Time to place the other clay elements.

I felt that the right corner was to empty so I put some netting there and a few flatbackpearls in the water. Time for anoter coat of black gesso. The gesso is dry........colortime........ I colored every thing with finnabair micapowders, Blue, Teal, Black cherry, Rust, Copper and Gold. Finishing touch with art alchemy metallique and opal magic waxes.
The last steps are coloring the chipboard and adhere it, the seagrass I cut in 2. Then I made the beachsign from 2 stirringsticks for paint and put it on the canvas. This was a fun project to work on, hope you like it as much as I do.
